We get there Saturday - escaping sub-zero (F) temperatures and lots of snow in Ohio!

But just think how warm you will feel even if the Cancun weather is a bit shitty (colder than normal).
    A win win.

    Actually yes.
We had a freak 3-4 hour storm last year in San Antonio from 5-9pm and it snowed about 8cm.
It was great for snowball fights and snowmen.
People were pulling over on the side of the road and letting their kids whom had never seen snow have at it.
    Great fun.
It was all melted away the next morning and it was 70 F by noon!

Very little snow or ice except once in awhile.
Last major snow was late 80’s with 30cm followed by 15cm about a week later.

We are originally from Maryland and have seen our share and do not miss it nor does my aching back miss my snow shovels or snow blower.

North Texas in the pan handle can and does get lots of snow.
We are way South and like it!!!
