Quite the contrary. I trust the entire staff. This is one of the best well managed properties I've ever been to. If any employee of this resort would try something like that, not only would they be arrested, but they would be "blackballed" within the touristo industury, making it completely impossible for them to get a new job, and the employess are well aware of all of this. I gave the TTR House Band band a bottle of champange in 2010 that my maid left for me, in appreciation for letting me sit in with them on one song, and I had to write a note it was a gift from a guest and sign my name and room #, so that tels you how strict the resort's security is. Ignore those tight sphynxter TA asshole reviewers, they are a complete joke!

Most people who are a part of the "TA Community" probably would not like TTR to begin with. It's all based on search engine advertising. As for the "Destination Experts" that's funny isn't it! What are the credentials for being a part of that hallowed group? Espcially the Puerto Vallarta variety, they are pricks, except for one.

    safe resort .. no doubt!

one afternoon, after having enjoyed some Cubra Libre, .. we toke a little sleep and left the sliding door to our groundfloor terrace just open a little column wide (curtains closed) ... just when we fall asleep the receptionist was calling advising that the security patrol saw our terrace door open and whether we were in the room as they were afraid that the door might has been broken up ... though being disturbed in our rest we felt very comfortable for this security check !

as well we left our net-book in the room .. no issues on security matters at all ... and def a trustful staff!

    cheers / sharkies

I almost forgot to add...besides the shenanigans I described above, she went even further with her taunting. In the exact spot from which she pilfered our pesos, she left this threatening sculpture, as if to say "I took your money, and there's nothing you can do about it!"

We've been to TTR 9 times in the past 6 years and not only has nothing like that ever happened to us, it has never happened to anyone we've met at TTR. Look at our friends list, it's quite large. NOBODY has ever mentioned anything like that ever happening to anyone they know to either of us.

Not alot to live on . So with all the tips they make I sure no one wants to jepordize their livelyhood for a few extra bucks.
More Mexicans from across the country come to Cancun to look for work rather facing the US border Minute Men.
Jo and I have never had a problem with staff stealing.
Normaly we put the tip in the fridge so the maid will take it. Left it on the pillow a couple times and it was not taken. But money in the fridge sends a clear signal that this is theirs.
