We have been twice and plan on many more trips to TTR. From our experence you will not find a better more friendly helpful staff than what they have at TTR.
I understand it is just a job for them but TTR staff seem to take a lot of pride in what they do and it seems important to them to to make the guest happy :)

We have been 5 times in the past 14 months and have never had a issue, I dont even bother locking the safe anymore, we just throw our stuff in it so it is out of site. I have left a few hundred dollars on the table and the maid didnt bother it at all.

Camera, latop, cash, jewlery, etc etc never a issue, sounds like another jealous Tripadvisor account stirring the pot. Many people here are repeat visitors, like every few months apart, if any of that shit would be going down you would see it here first

Sounds faimiliar!! A couple years ago we were arriving first day and our room was the only one ready--we all (8 or so) changed in our room, and hit the sexy pool. First day DRUNK kicks in--and 8 or so hours later I'm searching all over for our week's cash. After searching for hours, I finally give up, thinking it must be missing. The next morning after sobering up--I notice one of the beds has the mattress off-center. Low and behold--the missing cash between the mattress/boxspring!! There would have been one happy person somewhere down the line had that mattress not been straight!!:daveandmo:

'Til April 12th--see you all then!!!

And honestly--the only thing we've ever lost in 13 years of visiting is our INHIBITIONS!!

Of course they do, but it's nice to tip these guys, it doesn't have to be a lot, or every day, you'll find your own level. Remember you're probably there for 2 weeks, some of the people on here go for a few days, so don't expect to have to shell out mega bucks every day, but every $ is appreciated.

3 trips, not 1 single solitary issue.

Even left 20 bucks for the maid on the bed, came back only to find she put it on the night table.

Apparently you have to put it on the pillow.

When we were there there is a little plastic holder with the maids name, we left it under that and it worked

6th time, never any issues. EXCEPT, last year when we went, I left out my cheap costume jewellery and the maid left a note telling me to lock up my valuables!
