We had like 10 inches of snow and a couple incles of ice in 2 weeks! Our kids had 5 bad weather days....Now its back in the 70's!!!! Gotta love Texas...
what I'm gonna miss most is the Texas twangy "BFF" yelled across the pool each morning..okay afternoon!! xoxox
Ahhhhh....Texas Twang???? Really? No one has ever mentioned that to me before....You must have been drunk "all" those "afternoons"...LMAO
I'm back!!! back home safe and sound....and hanging! The Feb/Mar group wasn't big on the shots, so I had to drink the old fashion way, glass after glass after glass. The trip on the whole was a very different experience, but still had an absolute blast with my new friends. The cancuncare.com crew was actually very difficult to find, but those I did find were top notch! My routine didn't change much. Soft drinking during the day, and then making sure Johnny closed the bar at 5am every night. Johnny injured himself and missed my last 2 nights, but I got to spend one evening with Oliver...who in case you didn't know is my absolute favourite. Made missing Johnny easier to handle! lol The pool IS heated, but not like people are expecting. It's heated just enough to take the chill off, but is still refreshing enough to cool off from the heat. I had 6 days of perfect weather, and the other day was overcast for about 3hours mid afternoon. Needless to say, I didn't complain!!! I checked out the pool party and it seemed to go over pretty well. No one was actually in the pool, but I think that's because everyone was already dressed for the evening. I didn't stay for the whole thing, cause I had made plans to meet someone at the patyo, but from what I heard, it picked up later on. I would say that half the resort was by the pool and half at patyo's that night. I encouraged 5 or 6 new people to join us in December....only those who I thought could handle this motley crew! I met Lisa and Karen ( can't remember their husbands names) who after a few minutes of conversation, found out that I had missed them by a few days in December, but who lit up when I mentioned Sue and Jesse. I believe the exact words were "Jesse, the guy with the sock?". lol I seemed to have left at just the right time as the first wave of spring breakers started arriving on my last day. Security seemed to be everywhere, keeping the youngsters in line and you could almost feel the tension as increased security made everyone a little more subdued. I will stick with the early December crew! Missed you all and can't wait to see you all again xoxox
