we too will be checking early on saturday, hopefully they get our rooms ready earlier. we should be there by 10 am. so we will get to take part in whole saturday fun.
It is very unlikely your room will be ready early. The first time we had an early flight I was annoyed about waiting for a room. We have been early several times since and we just expected to not have a room until late afternoon. So as others have said above pack you swimsuit and what ever else you want at the pool in a back pack. Go get a quick bite to eat, change into you swimsuit and enjoy the day. Your room will be ready by 4:00 so don't even go check until 4:30. Then go get your room, take a couple of hour nap and your ready to have dinner and party into the early morning. Next day get up and repeat. Any way that is what has worked for us.
Agreed. Never known a room to be available early. The few times I arrived early I was fortunate to have friends that allowed me to store my bags in and use their room to freshen up and change. If you can't do that follow others advice to keep the essentials in a backpack or tote and use a restroom to change. Have even heard of some wearing their swimsuits under the travel clothes to avoid the changing time. Anything to get your sexy asses out to the pool faster.
It depends on how full the resort is. Since August is a relatively slow month there is a chance rooms will be ready and waiting. So, I’m saying there is a chance...maybe 1 in a million, but a chance!
Also in your bag after being on the airplane all night is having toothpaste a small tube toothbrush deodorant all in small Less Than 3 oz helps in your backpack since you probably won't have your room till later
We will be landing at 7:42 am in just over 4 weeks, so we plan to be at the hotel by 9:00. We are carrying a "day bag", swimsuit, toiletries, etc, but it'd be nice to know what you experience.
I would plan on arriving early-ish...go grab breakfast at sea flirt. The pool with start to ramp up around noon and goes pretty strong until 7pm. You may end up at the hot tub between 5pm-7pm just depends on how the crowd goes that day. Grab some food and maybe a quickie (nap or otherwise) then the show at Bash starts at 10pm and the part will get going from 11pm on! Great decision! Nikki
Bring whatever you've got to the resort, leaving the vast majority of it int he care of the Bellcaptain's staff. Grab your beach bag, in which you'll have packed, because you're reading this thread, the following items: bikini bottom for her, with a cover up for walk-around modesty if she's inclined. Your own trunks of whatever type. Sun-screen of at least 15 SPF for the bits that don't normally see any sun. Sunglasses, imperative. Tip money so you start right off with a great relationship with your chosen server/bartender of choice. Take the bag with above items to the restrooms off of the lobby, go in and change, stick your clothes in the bag, and get out to the Sexy Pool and start your shenanigans! Who needs a room for that?
