Since the locals here helped with my last question I have a new one. I need to buy a medication for my son that is not available in Canada. When we were at the blue bay last time a cab driver took us just past walmart and to the right to a pharmacy that had and sold prescription meds. They had the medication. This year we will be in playa so does anyone know if there is a pharmacy with the full line of precription meds there? Also a name so I can get the taxi driver to take me there. thanks in advance Bonez
You can try Walmart and Chedraui in Playa. There is also a pharmacy that is part of a gift shop a block or 2 north of the bus station, on 5th Avenue. It is on the sea side of the street.

Yes, there is one. It is between 25th and 30th Avenues North and Calles 8th and 10th North. It is a pretty new store. Keep in mind that the main avenues running north and south are numbered like 5th, 10th, 15th, etc. For some reason, the numbered others, running east and west, are also called Avenues. It also seems that my last cab ride was $12 pesos around town.

There is a pharmacy on the corner of 30th Avenue and Constituyentes also. It's directly across from the Mega which also has a pharmacy inside.
