Some one posted a drone video about a month ago . Best to do mornings,, even right at sunrise , get some awesome shots .
Everyone makes great points and I was leaning towards not bringing it. I think most people would be fine with it and come talk to me, but it only takes one with an issue. I agree early mornings would be ideal but I have a feeling after the evening fun I will want to sleep in a little. It does make for a great conversation starter and we want to meet some new people but I understand it may not be the best venue. We are going back to Cancun on March 18th with my son, will definitely be bringing it will me then.
Just be aware that there a lot of people that will take issue later in the day. ( after 11 am ) I couldn't care less but just warning you , since you asked.
Just added boosters to my rig so now I can fly 7 - 10 miles. I guess as @summerbum stated I can just fly down and say HI in March. LOL
A couple of guys were flying a drone over Temptations (hoovering over the Sexy Pool fairly high) during our trip and security shut them down as soon as they figured out where they were. I think I would just take it down the beach and avoid flying it over Temptations. The fear of pictures could led to some uncomfortable conversations.
If you talk to the resort and get permission, say early in the morning or evening it would be great if you shared your pics to the group here. I bet the early morning with the sun coming up would be great!
