Drunken monkey's are delicious as are tequilla sunrise. My approach to the sexy pool bar: Whenever they make frozen drinks they make enough to fill 2 cups so I just had the bartender loading me up with whatever was left in the blender when my glass started getting low. All day in the sun, all that ice kept me hydrated and comfortably buzzed
At the sexy pool we do like the Monos Borrachos (drunken monkeys) and I do the Bahama Mamas where my hubby does Paloma, but at Paty'Os I will drink vanilla Vodka, splash of 7-up, cranberry juice with a twist of lime ... there, now the mouth is watering lol!! When I start feeling too high-maintenance ordering my 5th mango mojito of the day and the bar has run out of mint, I like to drink a paloma which is tequila with grapefruit soda. Make sure it's with the soda though, because tequila and grapefruit juice is not very tasty...
Personally, during the day, my favorite drink is that especially lovely golden nectar of the Lord, beer, in its conceptula arrangement of hops and barley malt, leavened with just a bit of yeast, and set out in the sun to bake for a time, then once ready, separated into distinct sections of specific weight, then casked and/or barrelled. Or, Dos Equis Lager when its served at the Sexy Pool. But, you probably don't want to know about beer. So, Stacia likes this thing that the guys started (I'm serious) calling "Stacia's Vodka," which is just Mandarin Vodka (they actually had it at the Sexy Pool bars the last two times! Boo-Yah!), with some kind of sparkling water (like a Perrier, I'm told? Not sure), and just a ssplash of grenadine or other such substance for color and flavor mix & match. She does that instead of Vodka & Sprite as the sugar gets to her after about 7 of 'em. Then, there's the Mango Tango (some people in the know managed to get it imported from down Playa way), the Miami Vice, The Wet Pussy shot (loveluvloveluv those...), standard liquor shots (and some non-standard - Who actually drinks a 3 Wise Men, anyway? Ouch! and Eww! and Yuck! and Ack! and Blargh! all at the same time...)... Let's see, All the Monkey variants, which is rum, whether normal or cocunut, a fruit juice of one type or three, and then ingredients to make it that variant, i.e. Dirty Monkey, Ugly Monkey, Chunky Monkey, you get the idea. Oh, and Bodyshots, but that's a whole 'nother thread.
I honestly don't remember individual drinks but everything was awesome just like TTR only 13 day we can't wait :uk1:
I was P.O.ed that I found out about the Mango Tango on my last day. Those were good. And I fear the person who doesn't love a wet pussy shot.
