Several people (including me) got sick from the alcohol infused whipped cream - I don't really think we realize how strong that stuff is and how many shots it replaces very quickly! Be careful with that stuff, can ruin your night if you indulge too much in it during the day - lol! But I still think that I got slipped a mickey in my drink, but we'll never really know for sure. Just making sure I use my bubba with the lid in the future, and get my own drinks watching them get made to order. We are discussing a return trip end of January - we'll see - I really want to be on a mother fucking boat!!!!
Michelle I knew we were alot alike! One trip we had spent over $130.00(for 3 people) at the bar in the airport before we boarded the plane and then numerous drinks on the plane! Have to start the vacation out properly! XOXOXO Debbie

This is amazing!! Just as how you explained this is what happened to one of us while there in Apr.. To this day I can't recall about 12 hrs and woke up with the worse hangover I have ever had.. I could not come out of our room into the light for most of the next day.. That said We are booked for next Apr.. Just have to be more careful next time...
Gotta love that part. Heading to a mystical. Place where the drinks are free, and we'll spend. A bunch of money getting drunk before we get there. I'd laugh if I didn't do the same thing every trip.
Getting Roofied in Cancun I just took a group of about 40 guests to TTR June 2016. During the week two of my guests were obviously roofied. I am a registered nurse as well as a Doctor of Human Sexuality - so I do know the difference between "Drunk" and "Drugged". One of these happened at the resort, one on the Boobs Cruise. My concern is that my groups tend to be a lot of single women traveling alone. I did provided covered drink cups for them - but this situation could easily escalate into something very dangerous. I think it's very important to understand that Mexico is different than other countries (including Jamaica) in that anyone can walk into a pharmacia and buy these cheap. There are sick people in the world who think this is either funny or how to get laid. Either way - we need to be more mindful to avoid having this happen. :typing:NOTE TO TRAVELERS: 1) BRING CLOSED LID DRINK MUGS & USE THEM 2) DO NOT ACCEPT DRINKS (including shots) From ANYONE 3) Watch the bartender make your drinks 4) Create a buddy system when traveling alone with someone in your new travel group. (Travel with a group if you possible can) 5) If you see someone acting "Extra Out Of It" - don't assume they are drunk. Protect them and get help for them. Traveling to other countries is a gift and something I value highly. So when bad things happen it just is a reminder that the world is filled with all sorts of people and we need to keep our wits about us when out of our own element. (Although this happens in night clubs anywhere in the world too).
