Duty free is when your leaving the country. They do have liquoire shops at the airport.Whether or not they are ''duty free'' on the arrival side ? If you book with USA transfer you can prebook a stop to a liquoire store or wall mart.
Well we're not premier members, but I have not problem with asking for and getting Smirnoff with any of my drinks. Same with Bacardi...just ask for it by name and it should be good. D
Is it possible that they're just saying its Dos Equis? Dos Equis lager taste great here in Canada, at the resort I couldn't drink it after a few days, it tasted nothing like it. I'm thinking of going to walmart to buy some Coronas and some Pale ales this year. You have to have Coronas in Mexico!
OK we agree - Wine much improved! Just wanted to report back on our thoughts on the wine (we just got back Friday). Last year we thought the wine was undrinkably bad, both red and white. Not bad in the personal-preference, "I don't particularly like that hint of toffee and slight nose of blackberry" way, but bad like "someone switched this out with the vinegar" bad. I am thrilled to report we found the new white to be totally fine. The red we were not as excited about, but it was just a flavor we weren't crazy about, not that it was foul like before. (As an aside, that flavor we weren't crazy about we could only describe as "corn tortilla", I swear. Pretty hilarious.) Also, they have Lan Crianza for about $30 in the reservations restaurants if you want something better for not too much $$; it's a good Spanish red that we have at home quite a bit. Cheers!
Sorry - no rainbow shots at Cancun TTR. Bartenders are too busy to make them as they take time & care and they do not have the individual shot-glasses to pour them in.
Does anyone know if it would be acceptable to bring our own wine to the restaurants? We were there in January 2013 and weren't happy with the house wines.
But you can get Corona at the variety store 50 meters from the resort. for our American friends its about 150 feet :icon_lol: I cant stand do-sux-ass:blueshock:
