If you don't want to dress up there's always the buffet. Hotel rules say to dress up for restaurants. So you have a choice' As mentioned above ,this has always been one ( I have many) of my pet peeves. Our beautiful ladies get all dressed up for supper , the very least us real men can do is dress up accordingly ( dress shorts are fine on hot nights) to take them out.
Couldnt agree more , just like Lingerie night ....no board shorts and wife beaters allowed . She dressed up for you now shape up and do it for her !!!!
I always find it curious that at hotel known fot its acceptance of people the issue of dinner dress brings out peoples need to impose their sense of what constitues correct attire on others. I apologise if my hairy legs somehow diminishes your dining experience Ali approves all my outfits before I go out so I'm OK there.
I have to say that I like the dress code and don't mind stepping up my game for dinner. I know Jamie will put extra thought into wearing something attention getting, so a pair of light linen slacks and nice shirt for me isn't a big deal. If it's hot I can always change before Paty 'Os. If others don't dress up...I'm on vacation and it'll take something more than that to bother be.
