I don't know if we just got lucky but I didn't notice anyone staring or making rude comments at anyone. At nice shoes on lingerie night they allowed a bunch of people in that weren't dressed up.... Or down. So I had a coversation with a worker and they were kicked out.
Sure he meant it as a compliment but it came out creepy to the point it made her feel a little self conscious about what she wore that night, my girl always makes me want to touch her and I for one love it when she dresses sexy for me
Last April at Patios, they had a contest for fun games where they separated the entire area into groups of random people. These "teams" then participated in silly games such as "do the worm", and other silly adult things. One entire end of our group, about 6-8 people, sat there like bumps on a log and ignored the entire event. Not participating is fine, and their choice. However, they not only ignored it, they actually were making fun of people for participating. And one look at this small group was enough to know they aren't TTR material. Bunch of self centered smug people. I finally asked them why they even bothered to come to Patios, as they clearly weren't there to have fun, and if their only fun was to "make fun" of other people, why don't they just piss off! Long story long, they packed up there shit and left, and 99% of the people remaining at Patio's returned the favor of being laughed at and heckled and laughed at them when they departed. I guess maybe I made a slight scene of telling them off, enjoyed by many who obviously saw the same thing I did. The best think about TTR is allowing everyone/everybody to be who they want to be, get crazy and do things outside their comfort zone. Imagine doing that, and then being made fun of by some little group of dicks. For some people, this would ruin their entire trip because the first time they go outside that comfort zone, someone makes fun of them.. These people were doing exactly that. They weren't just minding their own business. It was one of the highlights of our trip. Never saw them again, and I made some new friends that night by being as asshole.......WIN WIN!!!
My wife and I struck up a conversation with another couple in the pool last November. The wife was super friendly but the husband was a real Gloomy Gus and I got the impression he wasn't comfortable with how well I was getting along her. They left for food and when they came back they went to a different part of the pool. Fast forward to the third part of the Miss Temptation contest. I had just donated my shorts to a participant and then I proceeded to walk out of the pool to get my beer. Of course I exited right in front of their lounge chairs. I saw her eyes open wide with surprise and I took great pleasure in knowing I pissed him off.
OK, this thread just needs to be bumped back to page 1. If, for no other reason, than to educate, LOL!
What do we have that they don't? We have ladies. It's "Why" we have ladies that they need to answer, more particularly, "Why do they have ladies and we don't?" *snort*
Old thread, but Im just seeing it. We've ran into several groups that were "self centered", "look at us", and very cliquish. Had a group one April where one of the women would change her swimsuit every hour and parade around the perimeter of the pool about 3 times in heels until she was sure everyone saw her. Of course Im sure they are smug asses back at home also, so we just always move on. Seems they didnt get the TTR memo about it being the most sociable resort in Cancun. The majority of life long friends we've made at TTR (and its been a bunch), usually arent a part of any "group". We like the "group" stuff, as long as it's inclusive to everyone who wants to party. Thats why we go to TTR. To step outside of comfort zones, and meet amazing new friends who do the same.
