Hi Steve and Chinos, I've made my donation. I know that this is such an important cause. Cancer is evil, I know, I had my bout last year. I hope you are able to raise more money.
We are now up to $4000! Great job to all those who donated. Chinos's original target was $5,000, I didnt mention this before as I didn't think we'd even get close. If we could get to $5,000 it would be a fantastic achievement.
Quick note to say that they have reached their goal of $5000! A huge thanks to everyone who contributed. Stephanie (the girl collecting the donations) will be flying down to Cancun in the next few days, so no more donations for now please. The race is a week today and I'll be there to get pics and more news of where the money is going.

Steve, I've been away for a while and just noticed this thread. I saw that someone posted today that they donated but I noticed that a few days ago you said no more donations for now. Can I donate? Thanks, Ed
The intention of the fund raising was in respect of race sponsorship and the race is on Sunday 12th. Stephanie who is managing the donations has already left for Cancun so my guess is that donations after this point might be too late to be handed over at the race itself. I'm not sure if Chinos will be continuing to raise funds after the race (I'm still in the UK and haven't spoke to him for a month) but I'm sure any donations that don't make it for the race handover will be passed over later and put to appropriate use.
