Interesting! I guess we can watch them work a bit, thanks to a Google satellite flyover from time to time. Glad to see they removed most of the previous buildings. It looks like there were some previous ones near the entrance too. I am wondering about the quality of the beach in that area.
here is a pic from trip advisor of the beach at Miches Club Med. Its about 2 1/2 miles away, across the bay to the east.
@mexico24 Nice pic/spot for sure. Given how shorelines differ, especially with the distance you mention, how is this pic relevant to the proposed building site? We've vacationed in the DR a few times .. enjoy the people and the beaches ... other than the incessant pesky vendors just trying to make a living. The remoteness of the proposed site should mitigate that.

I wonder how the locals are going to adapt to Desires guests on the beach? Moonlight swims in the creek?
At the rate construction has progressed since they announce it on June 26,2017 - I don't think it will be of any concern for quite a few years from now - LOL
I would have to imagine that creek will be diverted to exit somewhere further upstream as to improve access to the beach.
I think the design plans had Temptation on one side of the creek and Desires on the other. A bridge connected them.
