It was in the Playa Dorada complex. I don't know whether you are going to the same part of the island as Puerta Plata though? Bit of a coincidence as i was out there the exact same international dates 2 years ago. The wedding anniversary is in 9 days. :shock:

Well been here five days now and it´s been seriously scorchio all the time. Got bumped into the Barcelo casino hotel from the golf but it´s better rally as you are able to use all the barcelo hotels, restaurants , bars and clubs on the complex. Food great, alcohol even better not that bothered about coming home next Thursday at the mo. Havent managed to piss anyone off yet but as I cant seem to remember one day from the next I find that a bit of an impossability :lol: :lol: Toodle pip for now folks and enjoy work.... the pool is beckoning me :lol: Ian :lol:
Yeah, got home last Friday morn but had PC probs at home and was only able to access limited sites thru work ( :evil: :evil: Damn firewall wont let me get on CC but Facebook and BBCiPlayer are ok so effectively thats telling me were ok to surf face book and watch TV all day but not talk about Cancun :evil: :evil: ) Had a brilliant time, to be honest I did absolutely FA but swim, drink, read and eat for two weeks and never set out of the complex once, didnt need to really as we had the use of 4 other hotels bars, clubs, restaurants and pools. Food was amazing, best AI I've ever had by a mile, booze wasnt the greatest, isnt it always the case but when you start getting into double figures you dont really care do you. Rooms were ok, and I wouldnt believe all that bollocks written on TA . I cant say I'd exactly rush back there but as I didnt book it and was taking someone else's place I couldnt complain, nice place for couple's but not the most ideal stomping ground for young, handsome, athletically cut intellectual young straight men such as myself :lol: :lol: :lol: Ian :lol:
little lacking on the trip report, but coming from ian, that was a good job at one hahaha. Sounded like a good vacation though, wish I could have been there. The weather here is getting rather cold..........had to scrap frost off the car 2 mornings in a row! Ughhhhh
