Last year was our first trip and we didn't know about this forum. We wondered why people were dresses the way they were. After making friends we discovered this little secret! Now we are looking forward to participating. My husband loves to dress up as much as I do. Now we have another place to show off our outfits.
We will be at TTR for 7 days and plan to take part in at least 4 to 5 theme nights right now. We plan to have a great time on all 7 days. The best advise I've seen on here was pack for what might be a little risky to wear and pack what you would be very comfortable to wear....I bet once you get to TTR you might be willing to push it just a little. Go and have fun!
The only problem is that a lot of people that are at the resort for the first or maybe second time don't know about CCC...or the even the fact the the resort HAS theme nights. So, if you don't do the research ya just don't know!....I'm thankful for a hubby that ALWAYS does his research and finds these sites where we can make friends and chat about and get excited and into it so to speak...also grateful that he's now willing to par take and dress up as well......32 yrs ago it was like pulling teeth to get him into a Jason mask and hold an Ax in his flannel shirt and jeans for a Halloween party!!!!! LMAO (My have times changed!!! LOL) I do admit that the percentage of people that dress up is much smaller than I'd like BUT it doesn't stop us from doing it anyway....even if we were the only ones, we'd be the talk of the evening!! LOL It is better if you are with a large group that's really into a gathering of all doing the same things....seeing our group from last year is scattered (Octoberbreasters)....I'm not sure who is participating in any of the nights we'll be there!! last/first part weeks of Aug/Sept. What I DO know is we'll be rocking the themes every night!! D
