Doctor in the house & house calls- Yes ! Thumbs Up

My first 2 trips to TTR I came down with Strept 1/2 way through. The first time I did everything I could to keep going, till I nearly fell on my face trying to play darts (and hadn't had but one drink all day). I finally broke down and told my wife to call me a Dr. Within 30 minutes I had a Dr in the room. $80 for Dr, $60 for shot, $40 for more meds accross the street and in 4hrs I was able to go back out. Kept it very mellow, then next day was at full strength. Second trip, as soon as I started feeling bad, I called the Dr. and had almost the same routine. Since then, I get a prescription of antibiotics to take with me (just in case) from my local Dr. And fortunately made it through the last 2 trips without needing them. Guaranteed I will be packing some again, but still would not hesitate to call the Dr. if needed.

Sorry to hear that. One thing I do carry with us is Lysol. I use it to spray the general area in room and the vents !!!! I understand that you are not the only one who has had this, us included. The other thing that brings to mind is that most of us work so hard to get on our vacation that our resistance gets down. Then partying at TTR like rock stars brings it down a little more. The extra B12 and Vitamin C's do wonders in addition with keeping hydrated with water.

 

I love how everyone's story is pretty much the same. 30 minutes later, how quick do you want to feel better, shot in the arse, back to boobies. I'm glad I read this.

I tried to bring Lysol one time cause I got really sick one year TSA said nope can't bring it on the plane even in checked bags. I Never thought to see if the had a Dr on call, but that was years ago.

 

Last summer a kid hit his head and needed stitches. He said a Dr came and did it in his room. He said it cost a grand. Does that seem right at all? I cant see that
