Second last time I went down I had a bud come down with me. Couple of days after we got back there was a poker game with a bunch of friends/coworkers. Showed them pictures of the place, then offered the second set that I warned could never be unseen. They said they wanted to see. Next manager meeting it wasn't very hidden how naked I like to get. Still hearing about it today.
We told our close friends...my friends I just told them the name if they wanted to look it up they could...my husband told his friends the name and what goes on there and what not...my family thought we went to the sun palace....and his family well his dad knows where we went and he thought it was the greatest thing he's ever heard haha
When we were there this June, a poor guy from England was getting nasty messages from his ex-wife, who had seen him in the background (not even tagged) of a photo a friend of his had posted. She then googled TTR and was sending him texts threatening to take custody of his kids since he was at such a horrible place. I guess even if you don't tell, crazy people can still find you.
We don't offer up the information but if someone asks we say TTR...an adult resort. I don't like lying to people but we don't advertise it either.
I tell them exactly where I am going. If they can't handle it too bad. They can enjoy the Riu and die of boredom.
I'm more curious why people feel the need to lie? The main appeal to adult resorts is no kids so its self explanatory to me. "Sucks for you that familys have to go to family resorts" is my retort to any odd comment. "By the way, its topless" I add
