Nizuc For that purpose I came up with Nizuc resort ( nizuc.com ). Looks posh on the pics, expensive and all parts covered. Never been in Nizuc before - might just visit for an hour to find out and make a picture of the gate Sergei Aug 30 - Sep 4
I just tell whoever is willing to listen where I'm going. After all, they are the ones who have to sit in an office while I'm having a good time!
Personally I don't give a rat's ass if someone has a problem with where we go...TTR, Hedo or wherever... for the most part we just tell them! Always a few instances where discretion is the better part of valor, lol.
Just to point something out... Nobody should tell someone that they are going to "Temptations." The Temptations were a classic Motown act. Temptation, people, singlular. Not Temptations..... no "s" at the end. OK, off of spelling/punctuation/correctional pundit stance. Temptation is a fantastic, tops-optional, adults-only party-paradise in Cancun that caters towards fun-loving, sexy people who don't take themselves, or some of society's norms all that seriously. And yes, we tell anyone who asks where we are going. It's that attitude of not telling people that's sort of led, IMO, to the outside impression that only the lifestyle crowd inhabits Temptation, which is incorrect. The absolute most swingers we've ever known to be at TTR at one time, out in public and talking it up, was a group of 80-odd who were down from Canada one year, I think from Alberta mostly. Great group of people, lots of fun, very nice, respectful crowd. Non-pushy, non-insistent, courteous. Definitely not a problem. And, since TTR's max occupancy is just south of 700 or so, that's only 10%. Granted, you got your experimenter-crowd, and your show-off and peep crowd (voyeurs/exhibitionists, gotta luv 'em), and I don't know where they fit into that number, but still. We tell everyone where we are going, and if they ask the NEXT follow-up question, "Well... are you guys swingers then?" We tell them straight up what TTR is like. Which is, it's like an adults-only backyard pool party at your buddy's house with a bunch of new people and it tends to get a bit rowdy and drunken, with predictable results.
Like several others on this thread we tell any that ask where we're going. The kids prefer we say Mexico because they don't ever want to have the picture in their heads of what we maybe up to. So whatever helps them sleep at night right. But the way we look at it we got to this age we've earned the right to do WTF we want. And if people look at us funny and say that they've heard it's a swingers resort I say guess what swingers also go to Disney world so what's your point. I tell them it's a topless only resort with adult themes and if there are swingers that go big deal. Not my bag but if it's theirs and there happen to be like minded folk and that's what they want to do all the power to them.
I told anyone who asked. It was easy because I had never been so I didn't have anything preconceived to tell them. I just said an adult only resort with sexy grown themes.....was surprised how many people were actually interested once I said that.
We tell anyone who asks we are going to TTR because we love the adult only party atmosphere without screaming kids around. ;-) We bought this holiday from main travel agent in UK so we tell anyone who actually interested to look at Thomas Cook website. They advertise it like adults-only party-paradise in Cancun. ;-) And to be honest when we was at TTR first time I (Mrs) even did not notice it was some swingers around.
We tell everyone we go to temptations! Our parents basically said they don't want stories haha! For the most part we're open, easy going and just don't care!
I tell them I go to Temptations every year. They ask "why"? I tell them I've been to Cancun almost every year for the last twenty years and have stayed at several hotels...I've always explored the Cancun area while I was there.(PDC, downtown Cancun, etc.) I then tell them that this was the first hotel I didn't feel the need to leave, because I was having so much FUN! They ask me "whats its like"? I say its mostly a bunch of 30 and 40 year old people...mostly couples... that think they are on Spring Break again.....Its AWESOME! I tell them that their are Swingers there, but its not like they're trying to get into everyone's pants...well maybe...but they're discreet about it. I tell them the biggest problem maybe the occasional young guys who don't know how to act. Also, If you or your anyone in your party has issues with gay, lesbian, people of color, or are just plain A**Holes...stay away! And lastly I tell them "Look if you don't mind topless...and the occasional bottom less sight, if you have an open mind, are willing to meet and mingle with some of the most non-judgemental fun loving people you will ever meet, then give it try... and if you do get hit on by Swingers...I'd take it as a compliment"!
