I've never taken it. But I'm not leaving it to chance. How early before your flight should you get it? Also is it a shot or a pill..? Just avoiding the doctors appointment if it's something she can just call in.

 

You need to take 2 doses a minimum of a week apart before going. So basically you need to start it 2 weeks before your trip at the latest. I'm still on the fence now that I've learned it only protects from one strain of E Coli.

We will take our booster before we go. Our health plan covers it, so we take just incase. I’d rather take and not need it than be in our room missing out
