I've been to Cancun 15 times. Awesome, awesome place. I've been with wife, the boys and alone. Always safe for me but I cannot say from a women's perspective. I can tell you that you are very safe on TTR property. You are probably safe off the property too but I would ask more women than take it from me. Also, I preside on the side of caution, as safe as it is, if I were a woman I would have company when going off the resort. Like Mr&Mrs said, people are always heading out on "outings" hook up with them, it will be more fun!!!! My favourites are Isla Mujeres, Boobs Cruise, Coco Bongo and Play del Carmen. Have fun!!! I am a single male and it scares me everytime i go through the double doors at TTR. People look like they want to either eat you up or toss you in the ocean. I have managed and I have lost count on how many times I have returned. I believe it is a 8 times at least... I was single and went 2 years ago, but I was with another female friend. She didn't always join me at the sexy pool or bar and missed the Boobs Cruise due to being sick, but I met so many nice people. I never felt unsafe at the resort. I'm actually returning with another friend and a couple I met on my first trip. You will have a blast, I'm sure. There are so many awesome people at TTR!
i usually go with my bff and her hubby and always have a great time wandering off on my own,, this september is different as i am totally solo,,, but have met such amazing people down there that i know i will be fine,,, my only trepidation is meal time, yes i agree i hate to be a third wheel at a dinner table,, but after dinner woohoo,, game on,,,,,,, you will be fine,,, when you going.???
Yes mealtime was the main thing I was worried about as well[emoji15] I will be there July 18th - 23rd. First solo vacation...here goes nothing!
Make friends on here before your trip. Book transportation with USA Transfer from this site as well, that will simplify things when you arrive. Book the Boobs Cruise, talk to people and you will have fun. Oh yeah, some sexy bathing suits and outfits will make you fit right in. Bring a suit that is smaller than anything you would consider wearing, just in case...same goes for the outfits. You will be surprised how comfortable you will be.
I think that have some travel buddy is the best way for travel lifestyle. Because traveling alone is so sad for me. Maybe some people don´t want to travel with another people but for me is the best I like this sites about findind travel buddies I hope to help someone.
