Well, personally I thought it was a little small and not that busy in there. Then again, it was a Friday night (and early in the peak weeks), so maybe that played a role. The dance area had this rickity wooden platform that was kind of annoying, and my buddy got knocked off of it and sprained his mcl (actually had torn his ACL in a basketball game about a month earlier). I ended up carrying him home and he went home early. Good news though, John's knee is back to 100% and he'll be ready to rage this year. But that could've happened anywhere. I guess I just thought the setup of the club was a little awkward. My preference would be to pay as we go, but if we are there for 9 days, that could get pretty expensive. Therein lies my decision whether or not we should get studentcity wristbands or not.
Yeah, I'm deciding whether it'd be easier for us to get the StudentCity pass, since wherever the StudentCity group is going that night will be packed anyway. I just don't know if it is more expensive for the pass if you don't book your trip with them. It may not be worth it if it is.
using the city pass certainly saves you money!! No doubt about it! However, you have to go to certain clubs that are scheduled that night, you dont get to pick and choose where you go each night!
I guess Student City found a replacement fluffer quickly after Jason decided to skip Cancun this year.
Yeah, that kinda sucks, and that they don't include Coco Bongo. Can you buy it if you didn't purchase a package from them? Does it cost more that way?I want the Platinum Plus one so I can go to the concert at The City.
I think I'm just going to pay as I go. How much money can you really save with the wristband? Especially if you don't end up going to 1/3 to 1/4 of the student city nights. I have a feeling that the covers will be cheaper this year because of the economy and cheaper peso.
