Our last visit to Hedo on a day trip from Brrezes was defiently TOO MUCH of a good thing. PDAs (the real thing) going on right out in front of everyone! Ganja is illegal in Jamaica, but theres lots of it a the nude pool. Of course they dont enforce it (so they say), but illegal is still illegal and illegal in a foriegn country is really ILLEGAL and DUMB. If your in Atlanta, don't confuse The Valley with The Grove. A totally different place. The two resorts are about 25 miles from each other, but totally different.
I hate, I mean really despise the idea of a "quiet and relaxing" vacation. I mean, really. Where are the boobies? Tequila shots? Naked Volleyball? Body shots? Alcohol-infused whipped cream? Boobs Cruises? lingerie Night?
My wife and I did a ton of reasearch trying to find places to go when we first decided to go tropical a few winters ago. TTR is, as far as we've been able to find, the only place like it out there. In fact we've stated on numerous occasions that we like Mexico, but the reason we go IS for the resort. If TTR existed in Florida that's where we'd be, hell if it was in Iceland we'd be there. TTR fills this weird void that no one seems tapped into. It provides: -fun\party, but sexy atmosphere for adults -caters to mid 20's to mid 40's crowds (but below and above that are welcome of course) -NO KIDS The only other resorts we found that were "adults only" were either "quiet relaxing" places as mentioned, or swinger clothes optional resorts. Now either ends of that spectrum are ok for certain people, but my wife and I wanted to P-A-R-T-Y not relax and play cards, nor do we feel 100% comfortable with "extreme PDAs" happening right beside the pool. Topless is of course more than welcome and enjoyed. :cheerleaders: TTR is one of a kind, the company who runs it is sitting on a gold mine, open one in the DR or Jamaica, or Cuba, we'll be there.
Have to agree, been to lots and lots of party resorts and have to say, TTR is the most classy we have been to. The old Grand Lido in Jamaica was very good, so was Breezes Runaway bay. They are both long gone and TTR is a MUCH better value than Hedo II or Hedo III ever thought about being. CUN airport is much nicer than MBJ. The staff at CUn are much much friendlier than those at MBJ. Getting "yelled" at by a customs staff member is not the way to start a a vacation. a 20 minute ride is much better than a 90 minute one and the roads in Mexico are much better than Jamaica. There are no 2 lane roads in Jamaica they are all 1 7/8 lanes. And they drive on the wrong side of the really bad roads !!! LOL If we think that much of it after after a few hours. you can imagine how much we will like the place after a few days !!!
