Gone to Dinner every time in "dressier" shorts, button up sshort sleeze shirts and sandals, never once been turned away.

Too damn hot and humid for dress pants.

Ladies always have more leeway on their wardrobe selection. As far as I know dress as sexy as you want, just keep the fun bits covered for that lucky someone who gets to unwrap their present later lol:mnm:

My wife and I went to the Italian restaurant one night and we saw a couple come in - the woman was dressed in a really nice looking dress and the guy was wearing board shorts and a logo t-shirt. COME ON GUYS!! If your woman is dressing sexy and nice looking the least you can do is show her some respect by dressing nicely yourself! If you're looking for some cooler slacks to wear for dinner checkout some nice linen pants - comfortable and good looking. My wife never felt sexier dressing at TTR and I think the dress code should be enforced.

I think the Dress Code is a good idea...I look at it this way...you want to dress in Shorts and TShirt go to the Buffet.

I have no issue with getting a little dressed up for my Wife, nothing wrong with classing it up a little, besides which when you are as good looking as me it's just a little 'Frosting' on the Cake! ;)

I'm never going to have my night ruined - or affected because some don't follow the dress code...but I understand why it's important to some. I think following the dress code is the respectful thing to do for the resort and other guests. There are more fun rules to break at TTR than this one! Step it up guys...and dress up.

My hubby wore nice shorts and dress shirts for dinner. I personally see nothing wrong with this. We have been to TTR twice and have never had any issues. My hubby and I still had very romantic dinners even if he wasn't wearing dress pants.

It's not about a dress code... think of it this way...

I'm 99.999% sure that the ladies would love to see their guys or guys in general maybe dressed up once while their there in something other than swim trunks and a t-shirt. Even at Paty O's...

Have to agree with the dressier shorts and a button up collared shirt at the minimum, though I've always dressed in linen pants as that's what makes the wife happy.... and if she's happy then I'm very happy. I've never been bothered with the rules as it feels good to dress up and make it a special night for you and your lady.... I found some closed toed sandals for dinner. I dress in flip flops at the pool all day along with suit and t-shirt so this little deviation from the every day wear is welcome.

Just got back yesterday, still decompressing. Went to both the Italian & Asian and wore a nice pair of Tommy Bahama shorts and a silk shirt along with dressier sandals. The wife said I looked nice and they let me in without a second look. I changed later for Paty'o's. I didn't check out what other men were wearing, too focused on the company I was with :)
