Hmm. that is a tough one. We have stayed in the Passion Suite and an Ocean View room. I guess I would say it is not worth double the price but I can see why some would think differently. Here were the key differences for us in our experiences... Passion suite had the nice big indoors jacuzzi. Not a plunge pool. It is a jacuzzi. More space inside the room including a seating area and larger bathroom area. Big (shared) balcony that is right on the ocean. Prime location close to the pool area. Ocean View room. Much smaller. Tiny bathroom. Clean and enough space but the room really wasn't a huge plus for us. Nicer than Temptation resort easily but Desire Pearl has the rooms that really are a differentiator. Our biggest disappointment was the entrance was on the ocean side. So we had to look out the door for the 'ocean view' and then over the shared balcony. End result is we wished we just spent less and when with the garden view room. Note our answer for Pearl is the opposite as the Penthouse suite is above and beyond and worth double the cost.
