I just tend to eat clean. Grill, Poach or Bake the food you eat. Eat plenty of vegetables, fruit etc. Drink plenty of water, and exercise 3-4 times a week if not more and vary your exercise between cardio and everything else for example. I mean my body isn't a temple an all, but i wanna get into shape ready for our trip to TTR on 29th May - 12th June this year and I've followed those simple rules before with great results. I just wanna look good in my bikini/swimsuit!
I've heard that diet soda is actually worse for you health wise so I now drink regular coke with my Crown.
Dieting is tricky cause eating healthy n eating to lose weight are two very different things. Take fruits for instance, good for you but most of them are high in sugar which is very bad if you're trying to lose fat
For those of you who blame yourselfs for your weight, after visiting many excellent Exdos, you will finally be told: "Over 75% of the reasons you can't lose weight and keep it off relate to genetics". I struggle to stay under 225, My wife is my age and is still a size 6-8, weighs 130 Lb and her idea of a diet is to drink 3 Sam Adams Winter Lagers a night rather than 4. Can still get away with wearing a bikini.
I think another really important thing is attitude and what you think about when you think about yourself. Are you putting yourself down or are you giving yourself credit for everything you do well or your progress your making even if the only progress you are seeing is working out.. I find it even with myself, and I really try not to do it. If I start to think negative about my diet, then I also get that yeah I can eat it and worry about it later attitude. If what you want is a skinnier you then your heart and soul have to go with that as well. Positve thinking, saying yes I can do it go along way in getting what you want. Stay positive, with thoughts and actions and get you mind to move toward what you think about, it works.
I would really like to go Paleo but I haven't eaten beef or pork since 1988 so it may be a little more difficult for me. I work out a lot and eat pretty good but I'm still having so much trouble burning abdominal fat. Any insights anyone? I'm booked for Aug 4th
I don't think it requires eating a particular protein so much as eating healthy proteins, I think chicken & fish should be fine.
Eat healthy...........then it's as simple as calories in vs calories out! It is not Rocket Scence...........more about willpower! But........rest assured at TTR you will not be judged!
