We just booked our first trip to RM. to what I understand, a little more party environment than pearl bc there are traditionally more guests. Runs a little later. but keep in mind, the party and atmosphere is only as good as the crowd. So some luck is involved here. my wife and I love to have a good time but we crash by 1 am. Many stay up much later.
TTR twice than the Temptations Cruise the last 2 years. Now booked RM for February’24. We can’t wait. Thanks for all the great insight!
We're booked for our first trip to RM arriving Sunday August 13th. Then on the 18th we're heading over to Pearl. We've been to TTR multiple times, but enjoy not having to wear a swimsuit. , To get the flavor of each resort, we decided to split our trip. From what we heard RM is the rowdier of the 2 so we chose it first, to party like crazy, then to Pearl to do some rehab before we head back home.
After multiple trips to TTR, we have grown tired of the Instagram Socialite vibe and long for the feel of the pre-renovation vibe. That's clearly not going to happen, so we gave Desire RM a try. What a breath of fresh air. We will not be going back to TTR, even for a split trip. We fell in love with Desire and the couples only (no single male stalkers), as much of a party or as relaxing as you want to make it and overall experience. We would highly recommend DRM. We've not gone to Pearl but several friends of ours have and although they liked it, they said it was very laid back during the day.
We do both- a few days of party at Temptation and then we rendezvous to DRM for the rest of our vacation. We have fun at both but DRM is our go to now after 12 plus trips to Temptation.
It sounds like Desire might be a better fit for you. While Temptation offers a lively party atmosphere, Desire tends to strike a balance between sensuality, relaxation, and fun. You can enjoy the sexy and flirty vibes while also having some downtime during the day. It's perfect for open-minded couples seeking a mix of experiences. Have a great vacation!
Netcruizer I am curious as to if RM was “rowdier” as you state. In our experience it really depends on the time of week and the people that are there when you are. Both resorts can have their “rowdier” times.
