We did this the first time last May for two nights and it was not enough. This May we are doing 3 nights. Needless to say we love the TTR/Desire split and will probably be doing the same every trip.
We are looking at doing this for 2 days whilst we are at TTR beginning of Feb but the prices are very high, it's coming back as $1900 for just 2 nights. Anyone know of a cheaper way of staying at Desire but still keeping your room on at TTR. Thanks
We spent 6 nights at TTR and then 3 nights at DRM from Nov 20 to 29. Arrived at DRM on Thursday at noon, and left SUnday. We used Canada Transfer and it was only $95 CDN for the 3 trips (Airport to TTR, TTR to DRM and DRM to airport). We need to wind down a little after a crazy party trip at TTR and DRM offered up just what we needed. A little more relaxed, but still a great crowd. The entertainment was a level down from TTR, but that was what we were looking for so a perfect end to our Mexican trip.
We a\have been to Desire RM and we really enjoyed it. We are now planning a trip back to TTR for May. We are thinking about doing a split stay .TTR sat through Thur, and Desire Thur till Sat but that has us at Desire for lingerie night . lingerie night IMHO is the best night there. CCC schoolgirl is second. We could do it the opposite way and goto Desire first, but it just doesnt make sense to vacation that way. what to do.
Is traveling Tuesday to Tuesday or Wed. To Wed. a possibility? Airfare is cheaper sometimes on these days. That way you be at TTR for lingerie night. I think the best days at Desire are Sunday and Monday because of new people arriving on Sat. and Sun. Every night is lingerie night at Desire. :icon_smile:
We started off doing only DRM trips, we done this twice. Then tried a TTR only trip. Since then we've split every trip, 3 nights TTR, 7 nights DRM and love it!! As you know, TTR is more of a frat party all day. DRM is more relaxing and socializing during the day, but more classy and sexy party during the night.
Thanks for everyone's input. Unfortunately it appears Desire is all booked up during the week we will be there in May, unless we want the penthouse suite lol. So maybe next year we will check it out unless someone knows a secret to get a room there.
Did you just check with the hotel or did you check like cheap tickets and other 'sell off' type sites? Nikki
