Wow! I presumed it was per cabin not per person.

Right. Plus if I am flying to Venice and it is only costing us $685 each (was surprised from Philadelphia it is direct and that cheap) then I am thinking I could make a lot better use of my $6500 in Venice and exploring Europe than on a cruise. Maybe it makes more sense for people in Europe but in reality the cost is in the cruise itself and not getting there so I agree, will be tough to fill. Plus the adult cruise market is getting saturated. All of a sudden there are several a year when 5 years ago maybe there was 1 or 2?

The same Azamara ship has been running a swingers SDC cruise for about 7 years now, its always been the same price range, way too expensive. We have done many cruises, but none ever in this price range. Better way of doing it would be a group of us to get together on here and arrange a normal cruise where we all go on it, sure we would all have fun!

That's a great idea. Especially during the TTR shutdown.

So, by J & K's math, no reason to challenge it, it's just south of $8500 for the week cruise - assuming depart Philly? I've not checked in depth (only quick Google search so far, result below) yet, but I "think" most of the Houston IAH to Europe flights do not go into Venice, but get connected there.

    Connecting No nonstops
    KLM KLM 12h 45m+ from $2,142
Air France Air France 12h 50m+ from $2,158
    Lufthansa Lufthansa 13h 25m+ from $2,187
    United United 13h 0m+ from $2,214
Other airlines Other airlines 12h 45m+ from $2,142

..... so... for Stacia & I we'd need to add about a grand more to Kyle's math, leaving us at about 9 grand. Coincidentally, that same 9 grand is the upgrad price I just paid to my membership (I got a bunch of free DRM Passion Suite night stays comped, which worked out as a wash, plus the Big discount.... Hrm.

I am thinking that Stacia & I could go for 3 weeks at DRM, staying ocean front bad-assery passion suite style for the 1 week cruise, and I can assure you that there will be people at DRM.

There are other clothing optional cruises in the next year that are much more affordable. We are looking at a 5 day cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale next March. This can be done for under $3k depending on what you choose. A couple of days at South Beach and the cruise would make for a nice vacation.
There is also a 7 day cruise in Nov/Dec in 2016 and 2017 that can be done for under $4k. Just google lifestyle cruise. :mnm:
