well ok then, thanks BB......maybe plan a short trip there in March?? a long weekend or something, will have to check it out. See what the prices are like?? Actually doesnt look too bad from the pictures, but on trip advisor it seemed a bit wild to me.....LOL, I know, I know, don't take those reviews to seriously, but what else can one go on??
Quite curious to see what happens with everyone who is already booked out for Desire in 09. Much like buying a lexus and having a ford delivered. Sure, it's got seats & a steering wheel, but it's not what you bought and isn't the same...
Totally agree Mr Bhaven. What happens to all of us looking for the FULL package that Desire DELIVERS? Just don't want the tease, but want the E Ticket. We lost a very special place that we will miss. Time stopped there for us. At least we have all our very good friends that we enjoyed our time with.
I couldn't have said it better, mplsndecpl. Desire Cabo was a VERY special place for us, too, and we are so thankful that we got to spend time there. Our thoughts are of all the great staff that served us above and beyond. It's them that I feel for right now.
We have been to Temptations/BBG CANCUN 8 times but we have never been to Cabo. How to the two resorts compare? Is the climate similar?
Im fine with temptations changing and all but the reall question is, Are there any good clubs in cabo like there are in cancun. We go to cancun because we enjoy the night life as well. Now what?
As a Desire property you don't have to go anywhere else for night life. Its all right there. the Disco, then to the naked hottub. If you go out you are definitely missing the party. As a temptations resort your going to have to go at least 30 minutes by taxi to Cabo San Lucas to get to the night life. The property is actually in San Jose del Cabo. But what did we care we were partying naked in the hottub having fun until all ours of the night.
been to cabo - and the climate is about the same - as far as night clubs go - there are some fantastic ones cabo wabo is nice but el squid row is one of my all time favorite club/bars - love the nightlife in cabo - but not as commercial as the hotel district - if your looking for the glitz of the hotel district in cabo you will not find it - more subtle, but just as much if not more FUN atmosphere in cabo is very different than cancun - temptations cabo is just what the dr. ordered i assure you - loved it when we used to go there - but the places we stayed were just a little bit too tame (people had fun but not our kind of fun) for my liking love cabo so much may try and sell tim and the group on going to cabo temptations for "tunes taste and TIMtations" ??????????????? rob at el squid row bt (before tonya) with some blonde rob at el squid row bt with some blonde at the riu - matt and i got this poor boy (from houston) so drunk - he hurled for hours - we grabbed him for a quick photo op before watched it all fall out 7 floors below - as i like to say so often "when i drink with you things are going to get messy so dont dress up for it or your going to ruin some penny loafers"
