 July 1987...I was 11 years old and inbetween 5th and 6th grades. I was likely swimming in our pool that was in our backyard...griping because my aunt and uncle wouldn't allow very many people to come swim, they were afraid someone would sue them if they got hurt. An in-ground pool was a blessing and a curse all in one. I was likely watching these movies then: Dirty Dancing, Full Metal Jacket, The Lost Boys, Spaceballs, Beverly Hills Cop 1 and 2, Adventures in Babysitting (hey I was 11), Nighmare on Elm Street 1,2,3. Music...I dare not share.

So does that mean that you will be there, Dennis?? I have seen them once with some friends who lived in Westport and you're right..excellent by boat.
Hot and humid here and I'm loving every minute of it. Let's see, 1987, I had just finished 1st grade.
They will be up on the Thames River near New London, so I'm not so sure.... nothing really planned for this weekend though..hmm
Too bad I am going to miss the ones in my own town on the 21st. I hear they are pretty good. I will be in Ocean City, can't complain.
