hahaha, Kevin just came by...an idiot just crashed into the side of his brand new patrol car :shock: I took pictures...uploading now.
alright....the funny/sad thing about Kevin being involved in a wreck, is that this is #3.5 for him since September! lol 1st wreck....guy tried to beat him through an intersection when Kevin was running code (lights and sirens), T-boned him, fixeable. 2 weeks later....2am.... 2nd wreck....Kevin missed a 90 degree turn in the pitch black countryside on a dirt road on his way to a domestic call....where 99% of the roads are 1 mile straight-aways...this road was the 1%, and we had just moved here...he was unaware....lol totaled. All goes well for a few months...Kevin gets promotion to Lieutenant, along with a brand new 2007 Dodge Charger....sweet.... Last Thursday at lunch, in the parking lot, while they were inside, an old couple back right into the front end (he backs into spaces), made about a quarter size damage on the fiberglass bumper...no big deal...but of course, everyone gave him heck because he seems to magnetize wrecks... Today....on his way to work, going down residential street in town, 22mph...as he passes a cross-street, an expedition decides to go on through the stop sign (after stopping of course)....he thought it was a 4-way stop, at least that is what he is claiming his wife said as he ran into Kevin's patrol car :lol: Here is the pictures from today...Kevin is changing the lightbulb thingy in his lightbar...wasn't working properly...and it came in today, so in one photo you see him standing on one of our old kitchen chairs fixing the light as I took photos of the crash site. lol
That sucks Tonya!! At least he's okay though and has not gotten hurt. They say it comes in threes, so he should be okay from this point forward.
lol Sheriff is threatening to paint his car pink so people will see him. lol, although it won't help him stay outta ditches. :lol:

haha, the comments so far from friends: on the pic I posted on MySpace of the wreck a comment was left: "Ever think about NASCAR there Ricky Bobby?" Kevin gets a 2 texts from local State Trooper friend: 1st Text: LOOK OUT!!! 2nd Text only moments later: Ford Explorer Crossing! someone is already shopping at walmart for a hot-wheel dodge charger to bang up with a hammer to present to him on Sunday morning during church.
