whew....sorry for the long absence ( :lol: ) took the kiddies to the playground behind my house... I got out the bubble machine....played and played and played.... kiddies got cranky....looked at watch, 20 mins past 12....we always eat at 12 on the dot! came inside....everyone cranky....got lunch served in a whirlwind... got kiddies down for nap.... everyone is asleep....shhhhhh The games I ALWAYS win: Balderdash (I'm a darn good BS'er ) Pictionary Spades
lol hmmm...debating on whether to call the parent of this one child or not. my fever policy is 100.0 or higher has to go home...his was setting right at 99.9 when he laid down for nap....he didn't eat lunch, wanted to lay on the bench instead of eating....and has been cranky all day. background....this is his 4th week here, end of 2nd two week trial...he's challenged in some way, not sure how (whether mentally, or just really far behind developmentally, or a little of both)...mom claims he's behind because he's never been in daycare....well he's 2 and, well, I'm not going to go into all the details, except that when I did an ages and stages questionaire with him (activities that is what he should be at or more) and you can answer them with yes, sometimes, or not yet. He had 1 yes, 4 sometimes, the rest not yet....out of 4 pages. I've got a specialist that is coming to officially screen him, after I got the mom's permission....he's a very difficult child to keep, as he requires constant watch because he hits everyone instead of talking....not malicious...but basically his only way to communicate. The appointment is not until next week. So... do I call...because he's ALMOST got the 100...
