Yes he was able to get on the 10:30 Spirit on Saturday from Fort Lauderdale. He did miss a whole day but I am sure will make up for it down there.
LOL no not yet. He leaves for Wisconsin for 2 weeks of training the same day we leave for Cancun. In June he ships out to Hawaii for 3 months then Iraq for 9 months.
Everyone is great. We had a huge benefit at QT Saturday night. St Baldrick's. Remember those posters we had everywhere? From 3pm to 9pm people were getting their heads shaved to support kids with Cancer. Most people doing it were firemen. 3 at a time for 6 hours. The place was packed with bald men. We raised a ton of money and we were all over the news. Colleen ( my manager) mentioned that yuo should do something like that in England. LOL. Of course Kristen, Todd, Ang were all there supporting the cause. No head shaving for them though. It was a great night. Our boss even told us we could drink starting at 11. We got trashed
Yeah I remember the posters, a good cause...Myself and three mates did the hair bleaching fundraiser in our local pub four years ago and raised about $1,000... give me a min and I'll get the piccies.....
Hahaha, that is classic Ian!! Yes, it is great they do that & she puts a lot of time into organizing the whole event. They had a band marching though, did airbrush tattoos, shaved heads, raffles and 10 minute massages (all the money donated toward the cause). Last year they raised over 50k, I am sure they did better this year.
