I posted this before, and it is on topic (sorry last picture wasn't, but just have to give a shot-out to the peoples). I am down there right now helping in my OSHA certified uniform.

The more I am seeing the more I am feeling like it will be done on time. Those roofs are going on now, the interior rooms are getting built, then you will just see a wave of people doing what they are best at. I never pretended to be an actual building expert, but there are several that have said they aren't worried. And Steve has always said the same thing, and not being a kiss ass or anything, but Steve pretty much always hits the nail on the head.

    Latest pics from yesterday 27/4.

3 and a half months to go until opening.

The roof is moving along nicely on the left side, the right side has the roof just started. The central part is getting closer to joining the two sides. Interior walls up to the 5th storey. Lots of work on existing rooms, almost every room I could see had someone working on it. Also heard the wallpaper arrived yesterday.

We've been here a few times. 3 years ago we went for $1200 CDN each for a week. I just checked a rate in the cheapest room available and it was $2600/per person CDN/week

I know there will be a lot of wood there, just didn't think it would be wood paneling !!!

Yep, I don't think wallpaper will work well in a humid environment. Certainly I have never seen a house here fitted out with wallpaper, just plaster and paint. You couldn't paint a wall in those funky colours though. They'll be laying it on plaster rather than wood.

Not sure wallpaper was the best idea they ever had.

Yea defiantly not the best choice for wall covering especially in Mexico, hope it's mold proof.
