Completely agree with this plan, and I'll follow your leader on that.

As to price, this is one time when the membership which most people have been baggin on for the past... Oh since I got mine, is now kicking ass to own. Stacia & I's per night price for both of us is $192. So, multiply $192/night times 7 and that's our weekly rate, which is looking pretty damn good, considering what other people are paying. Ouch!

But... I imagine that they are going to charge what the market can bear. So, if they can get $800 a night and stay above 85% capacity average, they'll do that. I have no idea if they can, or if that'll completely change the "feel" of what we know and love as Temptation, so we'll have to wait and see on the Trip Reports, eh!

 

That design looks like it must be 70-75 yards long. Nice!

 

I will not pay anything over 3500 for a 10 day vacation to Temptation. That is the highest I have paid to go there and the lowest being 2500 for 10 days. Not worth it in my opinion.

We booked for Halloween, what is turning out to be a good deal, at $214 a night, for 10/29-11/05, through Alpharooms. Booked in Jan.
As it turns out, Ive been watching the price for that same week creep up considerably on AR. As of tody, it's $262 a night. At its current pace, it will be $300 a night by the end of summer.
I wont pay that. We love TTR, but we also love spending money wisely.

And put me in the category of believing the vibe will initially change. After all Ive read, I think that's the point of sinking that much money into the new look and marketing. May not last, because Ive already heard several repeaters saying they wont pay $300 a night to party. It will probably take a year to settle in to a "reasonable" rate.
