Listed prices have always been high, but always show a discount. ( maybe when their about to sell out they remove the discount ?)

Something they do now is have less cheap room available , they seem to sell out fast on those .

 

Good to see those rates Donald. I didnt spend the 5 minutes on internet because we were not looking to book our trip at this particular time. Just happened to be checking my e-mail today and read their big discounted deal. But that being said, the rates they are sending out to their customers just shines a light on what the mindset they must have. When we start planning our trip for next year hopefully we will get some of those rates you just quoted.

 

Take a deep breath and take a big step back from the ledge. Temptation has always sent emails like that. Their rack rates are never the real rates. I do not doubt that the email you got is outrageous. But no one has to pay that price. We are paying $315 a night for the opening in one of the new lush tower suites w balcony jacuzzi. How is the progress going wife and I just booked for August 25th 2017 feeling anxious about the completion.

 

I received the same email. I click on the booking button. The rack rate is $623. Discounted rate is $342 a night per couple for a garden view room. This still higher than other sites I have seen. While this is higher than we paid in the past, with the improvements, it should be worth it.
We have been going to Desire the past few years because Temptation rooms and services were short of our expectations. Don't get me wrong, we love the party at Temptation but looking for more. The new look has us excited to take a visit in early October. Just waiting for some friends to commit.

The new prices are pushing me and the husband to our limits price-wise what we can afford. It reminds me of our first few visits where we had to save every penny to book. Thankfully we've moved up a bit in the world, so at the new price it's still doable, I just need to confirm if it's worth the extra ££££s in November. If it's the same TTR for double the price, that might be a problem.
