    Thanks again Donald for the new pics. At this time the new building doesn't look like it has a very big foot print. I love how the workers have to climb the rebar to tie it together with out safety harnesses and tethers.

    Pretty cool. Thanks. I count 35 workers in that second photo. I think the construction workers should be allowed to stay for the party on the 15th if they are done on time. Kind of their own incentive compensation.

    I don't want to rain on any ones parade but I do not see how they will be complete by opening. Hope I am wrong.

    PS. I am a general contractor specializing in construction of mid rise buildings.

    I think that latest pic only shows the right half of the U shaped tower, there is similar construction on the other side which is out of shot.

    Sure looks that way to me. One story completed in 6 weeks, they have a loooooonnnnnggggg way to go.

    Glad we reserved one of the rooms around the quiet pool. I would assume that will be done.

    Would love to book for my big 4 0 birthday beginning of October.... However, our usual tour operator is only offering from November onwards.... We could book everything separately but do we run the risk of TTR not being ready???

    TTR will be open 100% maybe not, who knows time will tell. It will still be lots of fun with all that matters the people who are there at that time.

    Depends what you mean by "ready". 100% finished probably not, hence their terminology 'soft opening'. Ready to receive guests I am sure they will be. We are booked for Aug 15 -22 ourselves.

    All they really need to open is to have finished rooms, bars and restaurants open, functional pools, and a place where people can gather at night.

    It's probably not being sold by the big companies in the UK until November because they have to conduct site inspections and Health & Safety Assessments and all the other usual red tape BS that goes hand in hand with direct supplying big companies :)
