Yep that is the added deck I was referring to. Really a large space. But even in those photos (especially the first one) you can see how unfinished the concrete is. Hoping it gets done on time. But yeah the new deck is awesome. Kind of shows they get it is about the pool party more than the beach scene.

 

Is that third picture on the instagram that shows the laptop, a view of how many chairs they are putting around the pool? Looks like a lot.

 

Yes, the towel to chair reservation may not be as needed in the future. They have well over a month and then some. I can't see them NOT ready or even ahead of schedule. That entire deck area/beach line area was done in days, not weeks. These builders are not playing. Can't wait till I touchdown on Aug 20th.

 

Another big debate on page 30 something of his thread was about the Temptation suites and how they are advertised as having jacuzzis. Someone posted a resort pic that appeared to be taken from one of those jacuzzis on the balcony. A lot of speculation then about the Temptation suites now having jacuzzis on the balcony like the 'plush jacuzzi suites' which have them around the quiet pool on the first level.

As most know there are two suites on each level at each end of the horseshoe shaped 1000 block building. So 12 total. Well two of the 12 now has a jacuzzi on the balcony. And there is no construction to indicate the others are getting one also. It is the suites on the bottom level on the horseshoe end closer to the sexy pool. The jacuzzi is the typical 2 person jacuzzi. So looks like the Temptation suites will mostly have the jacuzzi inside just like they did pre renovation.

 

I took a closer look at my picture and video and I think I misinterpreted something. Apologizes. I thought the guy was inside a bar polishing a sink on the side towards margaritas. Instead he is inside the fun holes polishing something silver. I assume he just choose the fun hole as a place to work on something or he is actually working on the fun hole. Sorry but the main bar is where we originally thought. Between the sexy pool and the beach. No worry it still is plenty big. Fun holes are plentiful on both sides of the sexy pool too.

 

I just hope they're not going to rush things so much that they aren't completely done, then have guests start using portions that really should have more finishing work done. Or they just extremely cut corners and it ends up not being as good as it could be.

I actually think the Mexican people really care about quality. Yes there may not be as many regulations and oversight but we come back to Mexico over and over because how much they do care about the quality of their tourist spots... hotels, restaurants, eco parks, and best of all quality of their service

 

I also agree with this, thus the reason we love Mexico and vacation there, we've been to many places and keep coming back to Mexico.
