Demolition Progress And Renovation Progress. Reports, Pics And Videos

Looks like they've finally got a solution to all those 4AM chair saving games. Not too happy about what happened to the bacon bar though.

At least since the pool will be completely new, means new plumbing,,, hopefully that means they put in a system to keep the pool at a more constant temperature.

 

Tim - are you sure the 3000 buildings are staying? I was told that they would be demolished.

 

I am pretty sure the 3000 building is staying. They have already remodeled a couple of the lower rooms, only thing you could see was the new sliding doors and windows on the patio. You can also see this building in the designers photos and videos. The people I chatted with said it was staying. I am also thinking Margarita's restaurant building may be staying, you can still see windows in the lasts pic Steve posted about the sports pool, not sure if it will be one of the many new restaurants' or what it will be after the renovations.

In the picture below you can see a round building on the other side of the pool off to the left of the tower building, I'm thinking that maybe the old Margaritas building. They have to blend in the new with the old at some point and place. As far as the 3000 building in the demolition pics Steve has posted especially the flyovers from the drones you can see the fencing protecting the palm trees and 3000 building, I don't think they would go through the effort to protect that area if they were going to demolish later

I just think it is funny in these pictures that they did not update the existing buildings on what they will look like. They look the exact same as before.
