In all honesty I'd say it's time to move on. I was in a similar situation a while back and it only draws out the inevitable. If he's to much of a dumbass to see the nice, funny person you are then bugger him!
Yeah there's no point holding onto something that you know deep down isn't there, I did this for nearly 12 months and was the biggest waste of a year ever. Just do what you need to do to make you happy. Happiness yeeey! Bye Adam
