Hi all, What are some good/decent places to snorkel near punta cancun area? Im staying at the Dreams Cancun and don't want to venture too far. Would just anywhere along the beach be good? thanks
At Punta Cancun by the Hyatt Regency there is a decent place to snorkel, although right now currents are still to calm and take their normal stability. The phenomenon left that side with not so much sand and it is very rocky to go in there to get to this reef. A professional recommendation, dont snorkel until like a week from today, due to visibility for it is really bad right now, (contrary as for diving wich is ok). On our snorkel trip all you got to do is enjoy, we bring you and guide you on an area that is not a beach access. Hope this info helps
When I lived in Cancun with my ex, he used to go snorkeling just about every day at Punta Cancun. I would catch some rays on the beach.
If it is in december, great, just check the conditions before you do it. If there is a safe access, if there are not to many rocks but beach etc.
