RG: The first thing I always check is the language... :)

When I asked three times and still got only an empty look(not even an "Huh?"), I decided that I really dont want to take the risk of getting meat in my falafels.

It was so messy, the meat next to the mixture and he/they used the same tools... Thats asking for stomach pain :icon_eek:

Considering there are heaps and heaps of Lebanese in Mexico, Im surprised there arent more decent falafel joints around.

    Ooooh!

    Thanks Mat.

Didnt fancy all the pro-Israel propaganda on their page, but Ill gladly try their food, hehe :)

Ps. Ive started doing my own falafels - they turn out pretty good, but man... Its a LOT of work and I cant seem to find all the spices I need. Better than the ones Ive had here in Cancun so far though. :)

Yeah worth a look - apparently the owner is a Jewish fella from north london.

Jewish + North London = Got to be a Tottenham fan!

He's doing fish and chips - but I'm not sure if it's really gonna be like a British chippy? I'll have a look though - Full English breakfast in the morning at nopalitos, then fish and chips in the afternoon!

Oh hell no... Spurs?? Go Fulham - COYW!! :)

Fish´n´chips should be made with cold water fish. Still havent found anything even near "good" here :( Tropic fish has too much, ehh... fish taste.

Let me know how it was!! Please try to squeeze down a falafel as well, hehe. Maybe he can let you try a bite?

Ps. Here I go again, getting my hopes up... "Sit down in the boat!" ;)

Yep will give the falafel a try too - big fan of a good falafel. :)

Do you miss pickled herring and kray fish like we miss roast dinners and bacon?

Pickled herring - not so much, haha.

But I do miss my salmon that I catch(as well as cod, perch, trout and walleye..)

Let me know how it all was after your visit! We should go there together, if its at least decent :)

I drove by last night and it looked closed.

I buy frozen cod from Costco - it's reasonable, bit meatier than the "basa oriental " for sure.

Will report back on the falafel front soon!
