We (a couple pushing 40) will be visiting Dec 26 – Dec 31. It is our first time to Cancun. After reading this extremely helpful website, a few random questions remain: - Does it get cold in the evenings? Do we need an extra layers of clothing (especially something stylish for the Mrs. to wear over evening clothes) - Events and theme nights on these days? A good way to see the events, if any? - Any excursions or tours organized by hotel Dec 26-Dec 31 worth signing up ahead of time? (such excursions are typically good way to meet people, too) - How to reserve a sit-down dinner at arrival (we may arrive in the afternoon) or is buffet all we can get? - While we like to party, we like the room where we can sleep. Does the hotel honor such “quiet” requests? If no, would an upgrade such as “ocean-view” room get us a room to to quieter side?
Welcome beachseekers! It can get 'cold' in the evenings in December. Cold being relative, maybe mid 60's if we hit a cold snap, so bringing an extra layer might be wise just in case. The link below is the hotel's schedule of night time activities: Temptation Resorts Excursions and tours - the hotel can arrange pretty much any of the popular tours. You'll likely be sharing with people from different hotels though. Unfortunately we dont have a Boobs Cruise running during your stay which is the absolute best way to meet people from the hotel and also from this site. Sit down dinner - may be tough if you arrive in the afternoon, bookings are in the morning. Always worth walking up and seeing if there are no shows though. Rooms - ask on check in for a quiet room, they are more than happy to oblige. There are only a small percentage of rooms I'd consider noisy, most are quiet. No need to upgrade unless you want to.
