i work in a hotel and from all the stories i've heard it's pretty common for things like this to happen. there are some hotels in glasgow that go through this yearly... and some that have never once had to deal with anything like that at all. you just never know i guess. i remember when i was learning how to swim when i was about 6 years old we all had to evacuate the pool because a man had a heart attack while in the water. it can happen anywhere from a small local pool in glasgow to a hotel pool in cancun.
A life has ended and words are not easily spoken Especially by family and friends Whose hearts are most surely broken This life was well lived with much fun and laughter And now their new journey begins Into the forever of hereafter So tell people you love them, And embrace adventures with friends For tomorrow may bring to any of us new beginnings and ends
Steve's right. People die at home all the time and we're not afraid of being at home, right? When it's your time, it won't matter if you're at the Sexy Pool, on a Black Diamond slope in Vail, or out on the Great Barrier Reef, you'll still be leaving. Personally, I'm with whoever said, "Sorry to ruin your vacation, but it's a great place to, as they say, "die on the downstroke."
Personally speaking if I were to pass away at Temptations... So be it, it's warm, it's beautiful, and I couldn't be in a happier place if I tried.
I am trained in CPR and AED and if any of the april addicts go down just know I got your backs. Drunken Monique to the rescue.[/QUOTE] I to am in CPR and AED so I will have your drunken back Monique :aktion030: Just speak very loud and slowly as I to will be drunk :lotsofmichaelfs: Very sad to hear tho.
January 2012 they pulled a guy out of the sexy pool who'd been found floating with his head under. Nobody knew how long he'd been like that. CPR and ambulance, I believe he was ok. Point is, if you're drinking and near water definitely make sure you have a 'buddy' looking out for you at all times! Even something simple like going to the toilet, the toilet floor is slippy and you could easy fall and knock yourself out in there. I think a certain level of common sense is needed around the pool too. It's hot, you're probably dehydrated, so drinking yourself into oblivion by 3pm is probably not a good idea. I like to have a good time, and there are days on my trips where by 3am at Paty O I'm more than a bit wobbly, but you'll never find me 'full drunk' at the pool. First Boobs Cruise over a year ago now, I did drink a little too much...scared the hell out of me and glad there's so many people about looking after the drunkies! Not something I'll be repeating.
We were there at the time. Heard it happened Saturday night around 6:30. The rumors started going around already that night but you never really knew what was the truth. It didn't seem like it was accident related and business went on as usual. Bad situation because the staff can't make a big deal out of it.
Is true we watched from our room her name was Christine i believe she was on lots of med s was sad to watch
