Everyone needs to make their own decisions basd upon the best available information, but if I had a trip planned to Cancun now or in the near future, I wouldn't hesitate to go. Probably 30-40 mph winds. My biggest fears would be the rip tides. Stay poolside and enjoy a cocktail.
