    Hi all,

Well ive got the bug as i have every year, already looking at our return next year to Cancun.

Problem is this time we've got a wedding & very long honeymoon to pay off first, as much as id love to go back to MP i dont think we can afford just under £2k each for a fortnight realisticaly.

Wondering if anyone knows anytricks to knock this down, the best place / time to get flights / packages to cancun we are looking to travel in May for our anniversary.

We have stayed at Oasis Playa a few times before this, wouldnt mind going back but im also wondering about a couple of others that are more romantic like the MP (hehe loved having a jacuzzi in the room  )

so im looking for any advice please, especially on cheaper package info

    thanks

You could also post this question int he Breakser Forum, There tends to be more of a British following over there. They might be able to show you in the right direction, travel wise.. They all seem to get great deals. And I know most have stayedat the Oasis Playa as well.!

Well you certainly can't complain about the exchange rate you'll be getting when you arrive. :)

Consider booking flight and hotel separately, at least
check out some prices before comitting to a package.

May is a good time to go, it's still low season hotel
rates in Cancun and flights from the UK are plentiful,
    nicely priced and usually underbooked.

We recently flew back to Cancun from Manchester and got
our flights for 165 quid each, however to get those prices
you do need to book less than a week before you fly.

    For flights try these sites:
    http://www.globalholidays.co.uk/charter-flights.htm
    http://www.thomsonfly.com/en/index.html
    http://www.instantholidays.co.uk/

And for booking the hotel try

    Alpha Rooms
they often have some great deals
    on Cancun hotels.

    cheap deal!

Well we have just paid £600 all inclusive at the Blue Bay Getaway & Spa.
It's airtours, so wont be the best of flights. It was listed as £700 at time of booking, but a quick look round ebay and we found a voucher for £200 off the far & away brochure per couple, so got it down to £600 each. The voucher cost me £1

they have the oasis place you mentiond on there at the moment. You can book through airtours or going places, so look out for vouchers for both.

ahhhhhh, Moon Palace....been there. Palace resorts are awesome for sure...but definitely on the pricey side.

So I take it you want to be in Cancun....if so, I think the RIU has some good deals and even have jacuzzis available for not much more...well at least last I checked.

Where is/was the long honeymoon to??
