Silly question here... does Mexico adjust the clocks like we do in the US (ie: setting the clocks ahead an hour Saturday night)?
Yes, but in recent years it has been one week different. Must admit I cant remember if we are a week earlier or you are, nor what date it is this year. But yes the clocks do change!
Should we ask when we get to the resort? We don't want to be waiting for our shuttle to the airport an hour early?
With the delay in DST, we will be on the beach in time for horseshoes. Sounds great, although getting in an hour earlier about assures that we will have to wait on our room. We will definitely bring a carry-on this trip.
You could be right, but USA3000 has treated us very good. The plane parks in STL at night, and flies nonstop to CUN. Day one at TTR is usually the worst, and having an extra hour of drinking before noon could make this trip a little................well nothing a good nap won't cure. I don't want to be too hammered early if we don't get a room until almost 3:00
Actually, just found out it's almost a month different: In the US Daylight Savings Time beings on the 2nd Sunday in March. In Mexico it begins the first Sunday in April, so it begins Sunday, April 5, 2009 at 1:59:59 AM. That's why your arrival times might look a little strange on first glance.
I cant remember ever seeing a clock at TTR (when it was BBG). Does it really matter what time it is if your having fun?
Time changes in the US this Sat. night the 7th, so 3 weeks later in Mexico, it I understand right. Terry
