applevacation.com just added a flight, i think im booking through them tomorrow. a week at the oasis, straight flights, early times $1700 per person, 3 to a room peak week (10-17) its not a great deal but better than everywhere else. applevacations has been my cancun agent for the past 3 years, they always have the absolute lowest price. check them out, you may get lucky
Good for you for nailing a package, Philly. Greta and Justin did not have a good experience with apple vacations last year, but that was due in part to Hurricane Wilma. After what they went through, I took 'em off my list.
you TA may be making a commission you wouldn't have to pay if you booked through applevacations.com last year, my agent wanted 1400+ for the same exact package i got quote from apple website for $1240. she felt kind of stupid once i told her that i already got a cheaper price quoted right from apple. the el pueblito situation last year sucked, i was supposed to stay there too but apple gave me a great deal on the oasis because the pueblito wasn't ready. you shouldn't have taken them off the list because that was hardly their fault. it was more of the people at the hotel's fault for providing bad info.
