In my experience the Oxxo was significantly more expensive that what Walmart likely would be. Everything there seemed pricey. And if I'm going to buy in bulk, Like getting a 5 gallon jug or a bunch of gallon jugs of water, then it makes sense to do it all the first day. If you guys don't want to do Walmart then that's fine, I'm just saying I am all for it if anyone else wants to make a trip.
I think Fletch and Chaz are going to do it. I kind of want to hang out at the pool while it's still light out. Then me and Andrew are meeting up with Norma for dinner downtown at 6PM. I am not sure I'll be able to fit Walmart in there.
Alright, well then Fletch, let me know what the plan is, do you want to leave from the Oasis? Seth and I will probably just eat at the Oasis since we paid for the grand wristbands, might as well. I don't need to go to Walmart, just seemed like a good idea.
we have a fridge n full kitchen in our room, so i think we are going to try n take advantage of that and hit walmart up for as much as we can. seems to def. be cheaper there than in the HZ and obviously better for buying in bulk.
How far away is Walmart and is this going to logistically work. If the entire deal is gonna take several hours to accomplish and cost money for the busses anyway, it might just make more sense to pay the extra 10-15 bucks for waters at the Oasis. Do any of you guys know if there is a bar at the Grand where we can get bottled waters, and if so, which one? For the record, I already know which bar we are taking tequila shots at immediately upon arrival
8th will be my first day, anybody got already plans for that monday evening? Looking forward to meet as many of you as early as possible sounds like most of you know where to go and what to do.. )
Walmart is around 30-35 mins away from oasis, if you go with someone who knows how to get there, it should all be okay, the busses shouldnt be more than 14 pesos round trip, if you dont get lost. you also gotta consider coming back in the bus with gallon jugs of water and whatever else you get, getting off the bus and taking all those bags back to your room in oasis. Most of the people i know go to walmart by bus and then go back to their hotel by cab.
